They are wonderful wild animals and I serve on the wild boar task group to support their retension. They were part of the forest scene two hundred years ago. My daughter often brings her three children up from Farnborougn, hoping to catch a glinpse of them. I have seen five to date.
The Wild Boar are wonderful but dangerous at the same time. We have to respect the fact that they are wild animals and treat them so. Keep our distance from them ,especially if you have a dog and do not try and feed them. They are great to watch BUT WATCH OUT if they have young with them. On the downside, they dig up the grass and make a mess and they have driven the deer from some of their natural habitat.
I think like all wild animals they should be respected and left alone unless they are a real danger.I have seen a family and it was wonderful but I ran in the opposite direction as I was wlking my dogs and they don’t mix!
